Le Boudoir is accessed via a hidden door disguised as a bookshelf inside Brooklyn Heights French bistro Chez Moi. Once inside expect plush red velvet seats, gilded mirrors and antique scones all based - according to owners Tarek Debira and Patricia Ageheim, and partner Ali Mardassi - on Marie Antoinette’s private chambers in Le Chateau de Versailles.
The 75-seater bar will feature classic and original cocktails crafted by beverage director Franky Marshall (Monkey Bar and The Dead Rabbit) and named with a nod to 18th century history. If it’s good enough for Marie, it’s good enough for us.
