Upmarket mozzarella bar Obicà has opened its third LA location in West Hollywood.

Obicà, which also has restaurants in Rome, Palermo, Milan and Florence in Italy, as well as in Tokyo, Dubai, Istanbul, London and New York City, specializes in hand-made Mozzarellas di Bufala Campana, together with traditional Italian recipes and high-quality Italian handmade products, prepared “in sight” and served by drawing inspiration from traditional sushi bars.

After launching in Century City and also in Santa Monica earlier this year, the group has now expanded to West Hollywood. Obicà Sunset Plaza offers a dining room with exceptional views of the city, a grandiose bar and two outdoor seating areas – perfect places to enjoy aperitivo. 

New to Obicà Sunset Plaza is a guided Mozzarella experience, providing guests with suggested pairings such as Ricotta with Pine Nuts and Cranberries and Stracciatella di Burrata with Anchovies. In addition to traditional Mozzarella di Bufala Classica DOP with its delicate taste; Mozzarella di Bufala Affumicata DOP, naturally smoked; Burrata, sweet and creamy and Burrata al Tartufo with black truffle.

The menu is complemented by a list of 120 wines from all Italian regions and by specialty cocktails prepared with house-infused spirits.

The Obicà Experience includes: Mozzarella di Bufala Campana accompanied by Sicilian Eggplant Casserole, Cured Meats and Grilled Vegetables and Focaccina; as well as Pizza Bufala DOP e Pomodoro; and a Dessert such as Tiramisù or Panna Cotta.
