UES cocktail staple Seamstress is bringing the good word to Brooklyn with a Southern style cocktail bar.
Williamsburg is getting another dose of awesome cocktails in the form of Belle Shoals, opening next week off Metropolitan. Josh Mazza, who already has The Gilroy and Seamstress under his belt, is looking to create an early 20th century feel in this new partnership with In Good Company Hospitality, who run Parker & Quinn and Refinery Rooftop. The inside will echo a "Delta Juke Joint" but come summer, they'll open a massive Savannah garden party style outdoor terrace.
Pam Wiznitzer will once more be handling the cocktail list so we expect they should all be pretty flawless, plus they've brought in Seamstress chef Aaron Lamonica to design their menu. Keeping in line with the southern feel expect southern-french fare that will be ideal to keep you drinking all night long.
