This is a new restaurant at the Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills hotel offering a contemporary take on the classic French bistro.

Housed in the space that was previously occupied by the Livello restaurant and lounge, it is slated as having a hip St. Tropez vibe that delivers a fresh culinary experience to Beverly Hills.

With inspiration emanating from the Mediterranean coast, Spanish and Italian touches compliment the Riviera feel. European spices accompany locally sourced seasonal ingredients to offer a refined yet relaxed dining experience.

Olivier Quignon, who most recently worked at Bar Boulud in New York City, has come onboard as executive chef and serves a menu featuring things like housemade charcuterie, whole roasted cauliflower, côte de boeuf, garlic potato soup, Nicoise salad and ahi tuna crudo. 

The cocktail menu, designed by Chicago mixologist Alex Bachman, ex Yusho, Billy Sunday and A10, reinvents classic drinks such as Old Fashioneds and Manhattans.

Grilled Hudson Valley foie gras and local orange; sea scallops with mushy broccoli, tumeric chermoula and squid ink crisp; roasted organic chicken breast with leek, hen of the wood mushroom, Parisian gnocchi and vidalia onion; and marinated grilled flank steak french fries and vierge sauce. Try the amaretto ile flottante for dessert.
