Blue Bottle Coffee has opened its fifth L.A. outpost in Culver City and launched a new brew – its portable cold brew coffee – to mark the occasion.
Blue Bottle Hayden Tract has opened at Culver City’s Platform space in a former Datsun repair shop. The Hiromi Tsuruta-designed 1,000sq ft café showcases a La Marzocco Strada EE, a custom drip coffee bar, plenty of assorted pastries, and 100 books lining the walls.
There’s also a collection of influencers’ top ten “desert island” books, curated by Ta-Nehisi Coates, Bret Easton Ellis, Carrie Brownstein, Gary Shteyngart, and Tilda Swinton.
And in addition to a host of different brews and pastries, there’s also a light menu of prepared foods available at this location.
