Fresh Kills is the second bar from bar genius Richard Boccato, along with new business partners Garo Yellin and Jesse Moore. Situated on a trendy stretch of Grand Street, this watering hole is instantly comfortable with high ceilings, leather booths, lots of wood and a massive bar that hovers between art deco and Scandinavian chic which is importantly loaded with many bottles of booze. 

Little sister to the Long Island City bar, Dutch Kills, the drinks are obviously top notch, but with Boccato's history (Middle Branch, PKNY, Milk & Honey, Etc) it's no shocker. The menu is simply laid out with an emphasis on historical cocktails with slight modern updates helping to guide drinkers along to new flavours and styles. There's even whole section of drinks that hang out in the lower levels of alcohol ideal for longevity that don't compromise on style, flavour or intricacy.

Open from 4pm-2am, this is the perfect bar to stop in before or after dinner, or even to for a long session. There's certainly enough on the menu to keep your mouth entertained for hours.
