Bianconi

Renowned international restaurateur Fabrizio Bianconi has launched a new Italian restaurant West Hollywood.

Bianconi is his second Los Angeles restaurant after Santa Monica’s celebrated Via Veneto. The restaurant on West 3rd Street seats 140 people, emphasizing traditional Italian cuisine with Mediterranean influences and focus on wood-fired cooking.

Occupying the former Ortolan restaurant, Bianconi has been developed by interior design consultancy Spacecraft Design Group. The overall style showcases an Italian-European vintage-industrial look, keeping the existent brick arches and creating an indoor-outdoor feel. The restaurant features a large centralized bar, and a dramatic central fireplace, handcrafted wood-burning grill, and facade doors that open for alfresco dining.

Influenced by the unique flavors and ingredients of the Mediterranean, Bianconi's menu highlights fresh crudos and carpaccio along with a selection of dishes cooked in the wood-burning hearth grill. With a fabulous cocktail program and an extensive international wine list to boot, Bianconi is a welcome addition to the West Hollywood restaurant scene.
