Evil Twin Brewing

After years of using other people brew houses, this rogue brewer is looking to settle down in Queens with a massive production facility and taproom.

After building a name and empire of craft beer as a "Phantom Brewer," Evil Twin is putting down roots in Queens. Although known for developing brews in over 10 different breweries around the world, founder Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø has expressed that the time has come to really make New York his home after four years of jumping around.

After helping to open the Williamsburg beer-centric destination Tørst a couple years back, it makes sense that Evil Twin would take this next step in their own personal home. This 10,000 square feet of production will allow them to increase their output while still maintaining their hands on craft ethos in addition to their already robust network of partner brewers. They will also have a special space side aside for a tasting and tap room, plus an outdoor area where U will be able to sip the freshest brews available.

Evil Twin was founded in 2012 in Copenhagen, and quickly gained notoriety with their sense of humor and genre-bending tastes. Their beers have names like "Honey, I'm Home" (a Honey Mead), "Low Life" (a play on Miller's High Life), and Bikini Beer (a light beer).

Coming spring 2017.
