Mr. Holmes Bakehouse

San Francisco's iconic bakery famous for its signature cruffin has landed in Highland Park.

“What is a cruffin?” U ask. Think of it as a croissant in muffin form: a flaky and soft pastry that is filled with creme or jam.

Housed inside an Art Deco building on Avenue 59, the new space in Highland Park, complete with an "I got baked in Los Angeles" neon sign, features a big cement bar with glass pastry cases filled with delicious treats U cannot resist.

And if Highland Park isn't Ur neighborhood, don't worry. There's already plans for a second Mr. Holmes Bakehouse site in Larchmont.
