Located on the second floor of Pacific City, with sweeping views of the ocean, Bluegold serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch in a 235-seat dining room. The main dining area features large windows flooding the dining room with natural light. There’s a wrap around counter gives diners an opportunity to watch live oyster shucking as well as seating on the outdoor patio. The food - billed as modern Californian - combines classic beachside raw-bar seafood options with rustic California farm-to-table elements as well as international influences, ranging from Japanese to Cuban.
And then there's another restaurant within the restaurant: LSXO. Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (with outposts in Manhattan Beach and Downtown), LSXO is a love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam. While Little Sister is known for its French Vietnamese menu, LSXO follows the same Southeast Asian inspiration with a more refined, expat feel. The menu at LSXO draws inspiration from Southern Vietnam with a number of Chinese influences.
