Restaurant group D&D London is to open a new restaurant in New York’s Hudson Yards development, alongside ventures from Costas Spiliadis and Thomas Keller.
The yet-to-be-named brasserie will open in the 28-acre neighbourhood on the West Side in autumn 2018. It will occupy 11,000 sq ft on the fourth floor of the one million sq ft Shops & Restaurants building and will serve a menu of modern brasserie cuisine and feature a distinctly New York ambience with views of Thomas Heatherwick’s Vessel, the Public Square and Gardens and the Hudson River.
D&D London is a group of luxury restaurants, bars and hotels based principally in London, but also with venues in Paris, New York and Tokyo. There will be dozens of restaurants in total, including operations from chef José Andrés and restaurateur and president and CEO of developer Related Urban, Kenneth A Himmel.
