Gordon Bar

Fans of hotel bars at the Ludlow, the Marlton, and the Bowery will enjoy the Gordon Bar, at the SIXTY Soho hotel (formerly known as Sixty Thompson).

Designed by Tara Bernerd, the bar has a feel of a classic uptown bar, such as Bemelmans, while being located firmly downtown. The artwork on the walls is all from the personal collection of hotelier Jason Pomeranc, who co-founded the Thompson Hotel group of boutique hotels.

The cocktail menu includes creative winter warmers, such as a Jerk Rum Toddy, made with aged Jamaican rum, all-spice agave, jerk bitter, cloved orange peel and cinnamon. The food menu is overseen by John McDonald, formerly of the Bowery Meat Company and Lure Fishbar, and includes hearty bar snacks such as chickpea fritters, angus beef sliders and proscuttio arancini.
