Umi by Hamasaku

This celebrated sushi restaurant and izakaya from chef Yoya Takahashi is located at The Point in El Segundo.

The renowned West LA restaurant, which serves pristine sashimi and omakase-style nigiri, last year expanded to the spacious outdoor shopping and dining development. Owner Michael Ovitz and partner Jesse Duron have recreated the original’s ethos and vibe but this time in a larger space, with an open kitchen and four-seat raw bar. The 60-seat main dining room features light wood and hanging cloth banners, with seating for up to 25 guests outside.

U can't go wrong trying the $50 omakase menu that includes two sashimi courses, eight pieces of nigiri, and a hand roll.
