Michael and Bryan Voltaggio have opened their new fish sandwich shop in Santa Monica’s Gallery Food Hall.
Located on Third Street Promenade on the second level of the food hall, it’s a fresh take on the old classic fish sandwich, giving it a modern, fast casual twist.
The menu features just two varieties of fish: swordfish and salmon, griddled on a flattop and topped with a range of seasonings, “smears”, and toppings. True to fast-casual customization, diners can choose any number of sauces, including cajun remoulade, yuzu kosho mayo, or dynamite sauce plus three toppings ranging from kimch and pickles to pico de gallo, cheddar or pepper jack cheese.
