The ‘it crowd’ has spoken and they seem to be unable to decide what they love more from this chic hotel, if it is the Martin Margiela interior design, the colossal black and white photos, the all-white bar or the restaurant La Table du 8 headed by renowned Chef Benoit Hilaire.
If you decide to dine do try the refreshing and zesty scallop carpaccio or the duck, foie gras and pistachio terrine. Then move on to a beatiful grade-A meat like château filet de boeuf in truffle juice or stay light with a lovely sea bream fillet accompanied with calamari rice topped with parmesan shavings.
Drinks here are all done properly and imaginatively, but we do have a couple of favourites like 'I Don't like Whiskey' made with Whiskey Black Label, honey liquor, cinammon and Ginger Ale; and the '#47' concocted with Gin Monkey 47, Sloe Gin Monkey 47, lime juice, Vanilla of Madagascar liquor, and green apple press.
Whether you decide to go for a drink, stay for dinner or even make a night of it and book a room, we recommend you check it out. After all, in Paris having your own opinion on matters, especially new places, goes a long way…
A dose of privileged chicness.
