Night + Market Sahm

The West Side’s food scene just got a bit hotter, with the opening of Night + Market’s third outpost.

The wildly popular Thai spot from chef Kris Yenbamroong, which already has restaurants in West Hollywood and Silver Lake, is now open in Venice. Sahm means “third” in Thai and the new restaurant – like its predecessors –accepts walk-ins only on a first come first served basis.

Seating 70 people, the new Night + Market Sahm features a fish tank and neon orange and pink walls, giving the restaurant a cheerful, almost tropical vibe.

U can expect the usual fare, with dishes such as nam khao tod (crispy rice salad), and larbs, khao sois – alongside the signature brightly colored walls and pink beaded curtains. Chef Intu-On (Rustic Canyon) helms the kitchen while Peggy Keplinger (State Bird Provisions in San Francisco) leads the front of house.
