The Roof at the Viceroy

Sitting atop the Viceroy hotel, a mere pebble’s throw from Central Park, The Roof, on the 29th floor, offers unparalleled views across New York’s iconic green space.

Below is the famous Essex House sign, while the enormous new tower, One57 - the tallest residential building in the city, also home to the new Park Hyatt Hotel - looms overhead next door.

With an indoor lounge and outdoor terrace, The Roof - designed by Roman and Williams, who also designed The Standard High Line and The Ace – is intended to feel like a yacht, with leather sofas and brass fittings.

The menu is designed around small batch spirits – there’s an extensive selection of tequilas, ryes, bourbon, whiskeys and malts - regionally brewed craft beers, global wines and a rotating selection of classic and modern cocktails, complemented by small plates, including cheese and charcuterie boards, crab toast and meatball sliders.
