Castell brings Spanish flair to the Midtown skyline, offering a menu with Mediterranean-inspired snacks and cocktails. Its extensive drinks offering is the work of Kieran Chavez, the beverage director at neighboring restaurant Boqueria. It includes a wide-ranging selection of classic and signature cocktails, including an extended martini list (Dry, Dirty, 50/50, Gibson, Vesper, and 'Spanish') and several incarnations of the classic G&T.
The food takes inspiration from the Mediterranean, with a variety of small bar snacks and shared plates. Highlights include eggplant and tomato confit toast, crispy sea salt potatoes with smoked paprika, and flatbread with white almond hummus. If U’re looking for something a little more hefty, try one of the larger dishes such as the Flatiron steak.
