Elsie Rooftop

Summertime in New York is all about post-work drinks on rooftops taking in the sunset and city views. And if U’re in Midtown, there’s an exciting new addition: Elsie Rooftop.

Located on the 25th floor of the 1412 Broadway building, a stone’s throw from Times Square, the space underwent a $7m revamp, offering stunning views in a lavish setting featuring high ceilings, antique mirrors, gold metal walls, a gorgeous hanging light fixture Versailles parquet flooring and a blue marble bar top.

Owners Jacob Aini and Raizada S Vaid—who are also behind the Fashion District’s Refinery Hotel—as well as Isaac and Eli Chetrit, dedicated their newest project to famed socialite, actress and interior decorator Elsie de Wolfe.

Chef David Burke has crafted the menu, bringing U a small selection of light dishes. Ideal for sharing, dishes include flatbread with prosciutto and melon mint; truffle grilled cheese fontina (with the option to add on caviar); and lamb sliders with pistachio chimichurri and feta.

But the drinks are really where it’s at at Elsie Rooftop, with a vast selection of Champagne, fine wines and craft cocktails.

If U’re looking for the perfect spot to end Ur working day in style, look no further.
