The Netflix star has taken over what was once the Village Den, and with his partners, restaurateurs Lisle Richards and Eric Marx (Gilded Lily), he has turned it diner into a fast-casual, all-day cafe with “healthy offerings”.
The menu is vegetable-forward and free of gluten, soy and red meat. Dishes include almond and walnut pancakes, grilled chicken salad with spinach, egg and green goddess dressing, bowls like honey-roasted turkey meatballs over cauliflower rice and – of course – avocado toast. They’re also serving what they call TV Dinners, a meat-and-two featuring stuffed cabbage with pine nuts and macadamia-crusted fish sticks, among other proteins, with a choice of a dozen sides. And there’s a long list of smoothies.
The restaurant has been decorated in white, with light wood scaffolding and greenery.
