Patrons are always encouraged to come hungry to Fogo de Chao as portions tend to be massive, even at lunch. A party-like Carnivale atmosphere is part of the experience, try the restaurant’s famed churrascaria-cooked meat dishes, brought on skewers and carved right onto the plate.
There is a salad bar option for light eaters but why come if not for the six beef cuts, lamb, chicken and three kinds of pork---and that’s just meat! The financial district location means lots of sharply dressed men and women in business attire and an after-work crowd. Once the caipirinhas start flowing, it will be a taste of Carnivale every night. The Staples Center and L.A. Live are within walking distance.
