Located in midtown Manhattan, Valerie’s dynamic space pays homage to Manhattan’s Golden Age and its timeless architecture, with traditional building materials such as tile, brass, marble, and smoked mirrors as well as wall coverings of burlesque dancers and dark floral patterns.
The Gatsby Room and Gatsby Den feature local, small-batch spirits, and pay particular attention to gin and tonics, with more than a dozen gins and a choice of assorted artisanal tonics. The two spaces also serve the chef Darren Pettigrew’s menu of seasonal plates ranging from snacks to entrees designed to be enjoyed by the whole table. Try the crisp duck wings, meat and cheese boards, tuna tartare, flatbreads with assorted toppings, Korean-style fried chicken, steak frites or the turkey burger.
