Mister Paradise

Ex-NoMad barkeeper Will Wyatt has opened a new cocktail bar in the East Village.

Together with Eric Kruvant (East Village’s bar Drexler’s) and chef Jeremy Spector (Brindle Room), Mister Paradise brings high-end cocktails to a casual environment.

Wyatt makes use of high-end ingredients and innovative techniques to create a cocktail list that will blow Ur mind. Changing the familiar for something a little more enticing, he’s shaking up inventive cocktails with unusual flavor combinations. There’s the Doctor Angel-Face, for instance, a Dirty Martini made with Japanese shochu and clarified tomato water dashi; or the Cafe Disco made Old Fashioned style with rye whiskey, olive oil, buckwheat, coffee and absinthe.

Bar snacks come courtesy of chef Spector, who has come up with a menu of small bites such fried chicken with black truffle honey, apple pie Hot Pocket and a diner-style burger decked with bacon-infused American cheese.

Interiors include a gorgeous emerald green bar, bathrooms modeled after room 237 in The Shining, and an all-red VIP Room that's meant to feel like a set piece from A Clockwork Orange.

Innovative cocktails served in a lush bar with East Village vibe and prices. What's not to like?
