A new Venice restaurant with executive chef Vartan Abgaryan, formerly at 71Above, who’s gone casual with a soulful new menu.
Housed in the former Salt Air space on trendy Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Yours Truly aims to be a neighborhood hang out. Abgaryan’s Modern Californian menu highlights his roots as a native Angeleno, Armenian-American and classically-trained chef. The menu includes avocado hummus with salsa macha and za’atar flatbread; skate wing with chermoula and couscous; and Nashville hot shrimp.
Interiors feature whitewashed brick walls, colorful art pieces and plenty of greenery and bright orange banquette seating. There’s an eight-seat marble bar and an open 85-cover dining room, as well as a 12-seat private room in the back.
