The Stock Exchange has a new jewel to its crown thanks to chef Marc Favier and his wife Aurélie Alary who have return to Paris with Marcore. After five years at the head of Bouillon, the renowned French bistronomic restaurant rue de Rochechouart, Marc Favier and his wife have landed back on the gastronomic scene with yet another gem. Marcore, an acronym of Marc and Aurélie, the former second of chef Jean-François Piège wants to reconnect with the gastronomic scene via this 'bistronomic bar', and Paris is already delightfully abuzz about it.
Feast at lunch time on classical French dishes such as roast duck fillet or a tasty orange pie, and at evening choose from one of the seven daily dishes and six side dishes on the menu. If U think this is too short a list, then you haven't tried what is on offer. Why such a short menu? Simple, to ensure freshness and respect the seasonality of the products are guaranteed.
