Moloko Pigalle by Jose Mendin

A hip Japanese lounge focusing on modern Asian-style tapas and beats.

Miami-based chef and restauranteur Jose Mendin is well known - stateside - for dishing up innovative twists on Asian, Latin, and Spanish cuisine - as the co-founder of the famed Pubbelly Group of hipster eateries throughout South Beach.

For his latest Paris-based venture he has partnered with respected local restaurateurs Julie and Olivier Demarle (La Villa, Café Chic and Le Magnifique) to open this stylish, lively hangout - dishing up modern Asian specialties - think wagyu tacos and Japanese fried chicken with a wasabi ranch to salmon carpaccio dressed with yuzu soy and truffles - crafted cocktails and a soundtrack provided by resident DJs. Open Tuesday to Saturday, from 8pm to 5am.

The decor has been inspired by the 1960’s organic architectural movement, using exposed brickworks, stones and cement for the walls and the bar. The futuristic glass-made dance-floor enables a light flow between the two levels whilst mustard sofas and amber neons surrounding the venue create a Mad Men-like vibe.
