La Brasserie du Louvre - Bocuse

A traditional French restaurant serving dishes developed by celebrated French chef Paul Bocuse, with a terrace overlooking the Place du Palais-Royal and the Louvre.

Located in the Palais-Royal district, the restaurant (at the Hôtel du Louvre) counts the Palais Garnier, Palais Royal, Comédie-Française and Musée du Louvre as neighbours. This is the first Paul Bocuse-branded restaurant in Paris. Despite being a giant in the gastronomic world, the late Bocuse - who has been named "Chef of the Century" - had never operated a restaurant in the French capital.

The opening of Paris's first "Brasserie Bocuse" happened a year and a half after the chef's death. Here the restaurant's menu - appropriately - pays homage to Bocuse's Lyonnaise roots with classic dishes like Bresse chicken in cream sauce with mushrooms, pike quenelle and onion soup and the famous "Grand-Mère waffles".
