Acte II

A stunning al fresco restaurant (formerly known as Au Top) atop an iconic building in the Marais, with sensational views of the capital.

Owner Jean Philippe Nikogossian has upped the ante following success with Café La Perle and Café Foufou. Inspired by the Italo Calvino masterpiece “The Baron in the Trees”, discover an indoor / outdoor urban landscape on the 5th and 6th floors of an iconic building in the Marais. Strikingly designed with a “sophisticated brutalism” aesthetic featuring rare materials enriching raw surfaces including a mirrored ceiling and marble tabletops - blended with lush vegetation surrounding the perimeter of the restaurant terrace.

Food wise - Masahide Ikuta (Les Enfants du Marché) serves up Japanese cuisine from the outdoor 'open' kitchen, with many dishes cooked on the grill - such as monkfish liver with ginger mayonnaise, mackerel ceviche Pomelos from Corsica and Sambal pepper and grilled red tuna belly with parsnips glazed with white miso. Open from 6pm to 1am during the week and from 9am to 11.30pm on weekends.
