Forest by Julien Sebbag

Penned as a 'post-modern refuge' this indoor / outdoor nature-inspired restaurant aims is to reconnect diners to the land.

Named after a song by British band The Cure, this 'living space' restaurant and terrace by Moma Group is housed in the Museum of Modern Art. Forest is the latest restaurant from Moma Group (Lapérouse, La Fontaine de Gaillon, Noto, Le Manko…). Led by chef Julien Sebbag, the place stands out with its striking view of the Eiffel Tower and its tempting plant-centric menu that celebrates nature with seasonal and local produce. The soundtrack has been provided by DJ and producer Dorion Fiszel - known for his “Je t'aime party” at Rouge Pigalle.

Signature Dishes

Mezcal flambéed oyster mushrooms wth brown mushroom cream, pickled rhubarb, parsley and snow pea baby sprout oil; asparagus and snow pea salad with radish petal, cumin seed and cilantro marinated feta and zucchini carpaccio with kalamata olives, stracciatella, sun-dried tomatoes, wild oregano, and sumac.

Highlights

To create the vibe of a contemporary urban forest in the middle of Paris, a digital mural plays a dream-like, hallucinogenic film of moving, dancing woodland flora in the background.
