Abstinence

A stylish neighbourhood brasserie that combines a glamorous retro feel with creative cuisine and an iconic location.

Located on the Rive Gauche, near École Militaire and a stone's throw from the Eiffel tower, is this second restaurant from Guillaume Benard - who's also behind  popular speakeasy - The Fitzgerald. The interiors have a cinematic ambience reminiscent of the 1970s - with materials typical of a classic Parisian brasserie such as wood, marble and a lacquered ceiling paired with tubular steel furniture.

The elegant and intimate space features a chic dining counter and an open kitchen wrapped by a large central bar for counter dining and a terrrace for alfresco dining. Overseeing the menu is Lucas Felzine - formerly of Ze Kitchen Galerie, L' Arpège and Uma. The resolutely bistronomic menu as globally inspired dishes such as smoked eel with Jerusalem artichoke & cocoa and grilled octopus with porcini mushrooms and pak choy. All served alongside a menu of  natural, organic and bio-dynamic wines, as well as signature cocktails.

Signature Dishes

White asparagus with jasmine and candied egg yolk; deviled egg topped with a spoonful of caviar; snow pea and gorgonzola gnocchi and mini gourmet burgers with veal kidneys served with horseradish and spinach sprouts.
