Olivier Leone and Arthur Cohen (already behind Onii-San) have transformed an historic bistro on Rue Perronet into an absolute gem. The stunning interiors of the two storey space, recalls the signature interiors of the 1960s and 1970s. Behind an ebony facade - think vermilion lacquered walls with masks designed by Jenna Kraes alongside textured mirrors and extravagant chinoiserie style furnishings with intimate alcoves.
Overseeing the kitchen is chef Yuji “Taku” Mikuriya, who worked with the renowned Kyoto chef Eichi Edakuni at the now-closed Guilo Guilo. Expect contemporary Japanese cuisine with dishes such as nigiri de toro ikejime topped with Osetra caviar, creamy soba noodles served with caviar and fried sesame tofu with spicy miso and Kale salad. Served against an eclectic playlist and the moody and seductive rooms.
