Pont Alexander III is viewed by many as the most stunning bridge in Paris, clad from corner to corner in statues and gold foil, it is quite the attraction for tourists and locals alike. Just underneath this magnificent landmark, you will find Faust, a club, bar, restaurant and summer terrace that leaves little to be envied.
Since throwing open its doors in 2014, the club rose quickly in the nightlife scene in Paris through its impressive line of DJ sets from around the world. While its bar and restaurant, directed by Michelin-starred chef Christophe Langree, became a set fixture in the area as one-stop-shop for dinner and drinks.
The restaurant, set in a grand Parisian ambience, offers traditional brasserie fare of homemade dishes such as beef ribs for two (68€) or Bavette à l’échalotes. The menu changes with the seasons thus providing the most appetising plates made from the freshest seasonal produce.
The restaurant also offers a set lunch menu (starting at 28€) that includes a starter, main and dessert.
We recommend U start your evening with a little people watching and a glass of champagne at the bar and then move on into the restaurant for a hearty French meal.
If you still have a little energy left and are feeling adventurous, then do give the club a try. The nightclub may not be to everyone’s taste, as it predominantly plays house and techno, but it is a staple in the nightlife world in the City of Lights.
