Restaurant Philippe Excoffier

Talented chef, Philippe Excoffier, previously former head of the American Embassy in Paris, opens his first namesake restaurant.

The venue, which is located the heart of Parisian ambassador land on Rue de l'Exposition, serves a tempting array of gourmet fares that have already gained its chef a loyal following as well as additional acclaim. 

Some of the house specialities include the Swiss cheese soufflé, rabbit in millefeuille and coulis of red peppers, fowl roasted roasted with sage, sea bream medallion, eggplant caviar, vanilla cabbage and caramel-flowing heart. 

The buzz has it that Excoffier may be up for his first Michelin star this year.
