Bistrot Paul Bert

Viewed by the locals as one of the best bistros in Paris, Paul Bert has created quite a devoted following since opening its doors in 2000.

Ask anyone in Paris who really knows the city to recommend a good bistro and Paul Bert is sure to be among their top 5 favourites.

We love the the côte de boeuf for two with frites cooked to perfection, the veal sweetbreads on a bed of green beans and baby carrots, and the roasted shoulder of suckling pig (a house speciality).

For dessert we recommend U try ‘île flottante’ (floating island), and judge for yourself why so many of the Paul Bert regulars have graded it as one of the best in the city.

The restaurant is also popular with some of the local celebs and artists that live in the area, who are fans of the cuisine as well as the venue's low key ambiance, so do keep an eye out for the odd celebrity spotting.
