Finding a good breakfast spot in Paris can be a difficult task in a city that lives on croissant and coffee on the go, luckily there is Claus.

Nestled between boutique shops and office buildings, the atmosphere at Claus is modern and relaxed; this is no busy cafe with staff screaming orders. Instead Claus is where you come to celebrate your morning at a leisurely pace, be it for business or pleasure.

For breakfast U have the choice of five themed set menus (€15-€27) offering different medleys of sweet and savoury bites such as the German ‘fruhstück’ option that includes Saint-Nectaire cheese, ham, parsley sauce, boiled eggs, apple and nectarine compote and orange cake. Or opt for the traditional French option that consists of a mix of viennoiseries, breads and jams. 

If the set menu sounds a bit overwhelming for so early in the day, don't worry, there are also à la carte options. We love the homemade rice pudding with caramel (€6.50), and the scones with butter and organic jam (€6.50).
