Oka

Following the success of Maloka Alma Brasileira and Maloka Fogo e Brasa, Raphaël Régo opened his third restaurant Oka.

Raphaël Régo renowned for creating a culinary bridge between France and Brazil is riding high this year after the success of his second restaurant Maloka Fogo e Brasa, opened in February, and now his third restaurant Oka. 

Unlike his two previous restaurants, which are located in the 9th arrondissement, Oka is located in the 5th serve a gastronomic style cuisine. 

Addicted to authenticity, over 55 products in the establishment are imported from South America to France, including Tucupi, (an extract of cassava juice), cocoa from the island of Combu, Amazonian mushrooms from the Yanomami tribe, oil made by the Castagna tribethe, and black and white mini rice of Brazil (which requires 4 years of cultivation before being harvest), among others. 

As for the French products, Régo has developed a direct relationship with the producers to ensure that only the very best produce take part in his cuisine. 

Oka is the place where a new imaginative Franco-Brazilian gastronomy takes shape.
