Restaurant Apicius

The renowned Michelin-starred Apicius in the former Hôtel de Talhouët-Roy helmed by brilliant chef Mathieu Pacaud.

Housed in a beautiful 19th century mansion on the ground floor of the former Hôtel de Talhouët-Roy - and boasting a delightful garden with its neatly trimmed lawn and terrace that’s shaded by centuries-old chestnut trees. The elegant salons on the ground floor have been given a sumptuous but charming makeover by French interior architect François-Joseph Graf.

Chef, Mathieu Pacaud, the son of L’Ambroisie chef Bernard Pacaud, moves away from classical French cooking toward a more progressive cuisine that is more  ingredient-driven. Dishes include: a salad of grilled and raw summer squash; John Dory with caponata; and a puff pastry filled with black truffles and foie gras, entitled “homage à Bernard Pacaud,” his father.

Highlights

Looking out onto lush gardens and shaded by centuries-old chestnut trees, the terrace of the Apicius is decorated with fairy lights and contemporary furniture - a stunning setting to enjoy the sublime cuisine.
