This is one of the most authentic gourmet bistrots you will find in the city and we can't be more pleased that it is also located in beautiful Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Allard's boasts in a dining history that extends all the way to the 1930s. Now the restaurant is an unbreakble institution in Paris.
We love the incredibly well-prepared dishes that make up the Allard menu. Do try the Frog legs made Fernande Allard style (a real must) or the simply delicious duck with green olives. And if you a sweetbread fan, then the Pan-seared veal sweetbread with winter vegetables and black truffle should not be missed.
Just don't forget to take a moment between each bite to also admire your surroundings.
