All produce and wine here are chosen with care and detail so that each mouthful and sip is a delightful experience. La Buvette doesn't need gimicks to attract its clientele. Here the approach is simple: quality, simplicity and care. The result? Delicious.
Do try the pistachio terrine by Rodolphe Paquin with pickled cherries, the famous white beans with lemon zest, a burrata topped with raspberry powder, mackerel with appleroot and shiso, or the slow cooked beef with jasmine, date and raddiccio. The plates are tapas size so if you are hungry do make sure to order between three to four.
Here the house policy is that you must eat if you want to drink, but even one tapas fares will do the trick.
FYI, if like us, U are a fan of French bread then you are in luck as the bread here comes from one of the best boulangers' in France - Thierry Breton.
