We love the interior design that has us dreaming of the countryside, and makes one forget that you are in the heart of Paris. From the flowery wallpaper to the leather sofas and chairs, every little detail at Plume seems designed to make you feel at home. And we love the wonderfully friendly staff that further contributes to the homely tone.
Coffee is done well here, unusual for Paris, so if you are a coffee fiend (like us) then this is a good place to get one. The cafe also offers four different breakfast menus (quite a feat for Parisian cafes), as well as an extensive à la carte lunch and dinner menu. Do try the tataki beef fillet done Thai style with sesame oil and seeds, fresh coriander; or go for the beautifully tender shoulder of lamb slowly cooked for 7h.
The menu also boasts in several salad, burger, pasta and risotto offers, as well as lighter snacks both savory and sweet. Whatever your taste bud, Plume seems to have something for everyone.
