La Poule au Pot is a true Parisian stapple and a must for any true connoisseur, perhaps now more than ever. Michelin starred chef Jean-François Piège has now acquired this almost a hundred year old establishment and has retrasnformed it to its glory days.
Opened in 1935 and serving fares from morning until the early morning hours, La Poule au Pot has been welcoming VIP morning owls for decades. On any given early morning hour you can see actors, musicians and fashionistas packing in like sardines for one of the house special traditional dishes.
While chef Piège has kept the dining rooms authentic syle, he has reinvented the menu. Do try the buttery fresh snails from Bourgogne, perfectly prepared parsley frog’s legs, poached white asparagus, and the comforting veal stew. Then top it all off with an ever tempting and scrumptous cherry clafoutis.
