This well established restaurant used to have a parent restaurant near the renowned market, Marché d'Aligre (between Bastille and Nation) but now all that remains is this lovely gem on the left bank.
For starters do try the delicious melt-in-you-mouth ravioli with duck foie gras under a creamy red onion foam, or the shredded crab with potato salad. Then move over to something hearty such as veal fricassee with button mushrooms, bacon and a white wine sauce (done to perfection) or go light with a roasted fillet of cod served with peas, bacon and fresh herbs and new potatoes.
We tend to be quite full by the time dessert hits, but we recommend that like us, U make an exception here and try the mouthwatering pain perdu (french toast) or chocolate fondant.
