Restaurant Perruche

The rooftop restaurant and cocktail bar at the top of Printemps Haussmann.

The name Le Perruche (the parakeet) sets the scene for the exotic interlude to come across 500m ², above ground on the rooftop of the renowned store Printemps Haussmann. The new restaurant boasts in some of the most beautiful views of the Parisian skyline amid a lush green garden setting. The restaurant's and bar's design is likewise appealing with light wood touches that mingles seamlessly with the numerous colourful and outlandish plants that adorn the terrace.

Adding to its appeal, Perruche has also brought together two Parisian estalishments Daroco (formed by Alexandre Giesbert and Julien Ross) and the Daroco by Gilles Malafosse and Laurent de Gourcuff. The result is a beautiful symphony of modern French and Mediterranean fares. Do try such deliciously tempting dishes as Dombes quail, Hervé Sancho rib steak or the light black mullet ceviche, and if you have a little room left do make sure and order the baked fish knives dabbed with olive oil and parsley.

Cocktails here are equally a treat, all signed by the renowned mixologist - Nico de Soto. Do opt for the popular "Neo Tiki" made with old fashioned rum, pina colada and daiquiri fruit revisited.
