Chef Simone Tondo received due acclaim with his restaurant Tondo which closed its doors last year. But, before Tondo restaurant had even said goodbye to the Parisian scene, Chef Tondo was teaming up with renowned French restauranteur David Lanher to create Racines.
The new venue has already been attracting locals and critics alike through its delicious daily changing fares. The cuisine focus is a cross between Italian and French, and although the menu is not extensive - a choice of three starters, three mains, cheeses, two desserts, and a daily special - what is available is so mouthwatering delicious that Racines already has a cult following.
The wine list is extensive and well-edit, nevertheless, if U are lost for inspiration do ask one of the staff for their recommendations as they are well-versed and more than happy to help. After your meal, we recommend you have a wonder through the beautiful Passage des Panoramas and check out its unique boutiques, then finish off with a drink at the ever charming Le Compas, just a few steps away.
