The neo-brasserie located in the Passage des Panoramas has all the makings of a Parisian staple institutions. The house menu has been signed off by no other than three-star chef Gilles Goujon. Chef Goujon is recognised by his contemporaries as one of the greatest in France, and the world for that matter, that little point of information alone has us counting down the days for Astair's grand opening. The menu we are told will be a delicate, modern take on tradional French gastronomy fares, particularly featuring perfectly executed grilled meat dishes.
Meanwhile, the beautiful interior decor of the establishment has been designed by Tritan Auer, who has beautifully mixed traditional and modern decor - including a hand-cut cork ceiling, a projected brass artist's panorama and an ironwork bar.
What more can we ask from a new charming Parisian restaurant?
Business lunch, romantic dinner, after work drinks.
