Girafe Restaurant

The Cité de l'architecture now boasts on a new rooftop restaurant designed by the famous architect Joseph Dirand.

Sitting high on top of the beautiful Cité de l'architecture building now lies the amusingly named Girafe restaurant, offering some of the best views of the city, as well as a delectable cuisine. A recent project of the renowned Gilles Malafosse and Laurent Gourcuff (Loulou, Monsieur Bleu).

We just can't get enough of the 1930s inspired decor - light banquettes, cozy and intimate atmosphere, marble bar, tropical plants - designed by Joseph Dirand.

Still, it is the delectable menu by talented chef Benoît Dargère that is creating quite the buzz. Discover a simple yet refined cuisine based on fish and other seafood, that will have you dreaming of summer days. Do try the lobster linguini or the melt in your mouth and delightfully refreshing langoustine with ginger and lemongrass.

And by all means do have a look at the exceptionally well-edited wine list.
