Chef Yannick Tranchant fame is well-known in France after so many successful stints, including Sheraton Roissy Hotel, La Grande Cascade, and Neva Cuisine. Now the previous pastry chef has taken over the L'Escargot 1903 kitchen and the result is a delight to the taste buds.
The menu is delicate, refined and imaginative, with a particular style and presentation that has already won us over, alongside the other refined paletes in Paris.
We must admit, everything is truly well-executed, still there are some stand-out favourites such as the prawn ravioli with fennel confit in a secret sauce foam, and the ever-tasty duck with fall vegetables, buckwheat and kumquat.
Needless to say, that with previous patisserie chef Chef Yannick Tranchant at the helm - desserts are a real treat. So do be sure to leave room for appealing temptations such as the house-special Millefeuille or the decandent 'chocolat sphere deconstructed'.
