There is definitely a buzz about this new gourmet fast food restaurant, brainchild of the prolific and renown chef Thierry Marx, who has joined forces with designer Ora Ïto, to create an address that is both pleasing to the eyes and taste palete.
Thierry Marx is no stranger to successful establishment, just consider L’Etoile du Nord, La Boulangerie, Maison Dubernet at Printemps du goût, and that was just in the last two years. Now, the Mandarin Oriental chef has expanded his gastronomic force to a new concept, an organic fast food restaurant.
There are a number of appetising options on offer at MarXito but a local favourite are the buckwheat 'pancakes', filled with hand-picked ingredients and available in savory and sweet. These pancakes are apparently a strange blend of Franco-Japanese spirit. Do try the 'Marinated eggplant' with scarmozza mozzarella, piquilhos sauce', or the 'Smoked salmon' with avocado, Japanese radish, miso parsley sauce, all wrapped in a freshly prepared flaky pancake.
There seems to be plenty of yummy reasons to visit MarXito but the biggest one seeems to be - how often does one get to have fast food from a two-star Michelin chef in the setting of one of the world leading interior designers?
