Robert Restaurant

A dining delight, compliments of Australian chef Peter Orr and his talented team.

Robert is a well kept local secret, that boats in everything from an open plan that looks straight into the kitchen, to imaginative and tasty cuisine, to one hell of a wine list. Sure, the decor is not ground breaking, but that's because that is left up to the fares.

Australian chef Peter Orr and his talented team put on quite a show via their variety of creative dishes. For starters do try the  eartwarming green asparagus soup with marinated salmon and salmon roe, or the artichokes and onion with jellied yogurt sauce and crispy quinoa topping. Sounds like a strange mix of flavours (we know) but it works! Then move on to a comforting main like the delicious lamb on a bed of radicchio leaves and accompanied by a candied carrot, or with puréed carrots with cumin. Or go light with the terribly tempting barbeque brill with white asparagus and hazelnut hollandaise. Yum!

This is one of the most renowned neighbourhood restaurants in Paris, so if U are a foodie connoisseur Robert is a must.
